Mistral SUP 11-City Tour
We are proud to announce that the recent Mistral SUP 11-City Tour has been a decisive success for the Mistral brand. The Mistral SUP 11-City Tour was not only about having fun and tearing up the surf; it also generated a great deal of international publicity sealing Mistral's reputation as a serious water sports brand.
The event lasted for five days with athletes from around the globe competing in the ultimate challenge. They paddled 220 kilometers (136 miles) around the waterways of Friesland, North Holland. The participants were paddling the historical canals Dutch endurance skaters have celebrated for the past 101 freezing winters.
Having made our first step into this new era of water sport and reinforcing our succsess, we are now in the starting blocks fully conquering the world of stand up paddle surfing with the much anticipated launch of the new line of Mistral SUP boards. Supervised by Anders Bringdal, the new range will encompass all categories from 'race' to 'wave' to 'all-round' and is guarenteed to stoke you out!. Expected full entry to the markets is by March 2011.
